BimmerCode allows you to code the control units in your BMW or MINI to unlock hidden features and customize your car to your liking.
Activate the digital speed display in the instrument cluster or allow your passengers to watch videos while driving in the iDrive system. Do you want to disable the Auto Start/Stop function or the Active Sound Design? You will be able to code this and much more by yourself with the BimmerCode app.

App works and allows for almost everything I want to code except default Auto Hold. I did have connection errors with Veepeak Bluetooth BLE, but found out that it was actually my phone blocking it. Thus app and adaptor are OK. Switching to my tablet or business phone solved the issue. You also need your phone in airplane mode and have it SOLELY connected to the Veepeak. Additionally you need to switch off your CAR Bluetooth, since it may interfere with the adaptor.

App has good functionality and works well. so far I've only really got value from activating memory for start stop. My main gripe is the price, which is extortionate and should at least include Bimmerlink as well. $73 for a coding app and them an additional $60 for the diagnostics is very excessive. For comparison, I have an app for Jeeps (JScan) where I can access all coding and diagnostics, absolutely excellent and they only charge $20.

Very, very good app. Just on the first use,I was able to add sports automatic transmission, sports plus mode, and turn off auto start/stop by default. Saving me hundreds, all without having to go into expert mode because i already noticed launch control was active. Just those alone paid for the apps cost, Thanks for this app.BMW F10
