is a fun game and has huge potential, but the 2 stars are for overall experience. 1. battles fought are lost 75% of the time by players that pay to win causing lack of growth and enjoyment. 2. combat not controlled by the player and just relying on blind luck is ludicrous. 3. lack or rewards for wins and losses again causing lack of growth and enjoyment. *simply play and lose.... change builds? fix weapons to fire like they're supposed to first.

We're sorry to hear about your frustrations with the game, Commander Ryan. We respect your feedback. Commanders can obtain all resources, including ships, for free by simply playing. Even though you don't have any ship control features, you can influence its behavior. You need to analyze your battles and make changes in builds.

It's pretty good for a pay to win game but it's a GACHA game. The grind is obnoxious, especially the first 30 levels or so; after that you get bombarded with ads. It's kind of fun, but there are too many barriers in the early game, making it play a bit like an idle game until you progress into Battleships. Scores/5: Gameplay: 3.5; Aesthetics: 4; Matchmaking: 3; Freemium balance/Ads/Gems: 2.5. Does not run well on old devices (ads crash game easily).

This is an all around excellent game, where you can change, tweak, upgrade and even customize your ship's colors. Put any weapons and shields you like, but the strategic possibilities are almost endless. The only thing that I dislike? Leveling up far too fast. Overall, I'd give this game a five star rating for the devs out there. Fantastic work.
