XG gammon was the definitive choice for BG apps. But no longer works in Android, this app is an alternative. XG has better interface, and better all round. BGNJ gets the rolls it wants way too much, especially when behind. 2- 3 perfect rolls in a row to decimate you. Just jumps out from your prime with ease when it wants to. makes perfect hit & cover shots if you leave a blot- consistently Edit: can't believe it doesn't cheat. Rolls perfectly at times. Frustrating

The app is honest & has random rolls. Proofs here: https://www.njsoftware.com/note.html

Something is going on with the Algorithm. It keeps you on bar much longer. I have been on the bar 7 or 8 turns with half the points open, and the computer gets off the bar very often with a single roll. It also starts giving you rolls with 1 or 2 on at least one die when you start bearing off. Statistically, doubles are quite even, but I believe it is skewed because many of your doubles come when the checker is stuck on the bar, and it is to a point that is occupied.

worst backgammon ever. The AI rolls exactly the dice it needs to get out of impossible situations time and time again, while the player will sometimes need for example a 2, and won't roll a 2 in ten to twenty rolls. I've played this game professionally. This is by far the worst AI version I have ever played. A massive rip off and disgrace to a great game. Avoid like the plague.
