Enphase Enlighten

There is a problem plaguing the system. It's new functionality that Enphase introduced a few months ago that overrides your "storm guard: off" setting when they think a weather event is "critical". Thing is, their severity has rarely been accurate, but even if it were, it's a bait and switch in functionality (relative to when I installed the system), loss of control by users over their hardware, and is causing users like me economic loss and unnecessary stress. "Support" not helping.

Really enjoy this app there are a couple of minor issues though. The notifications don't work. If grid power is lost or other situations occur, the system should send emails or text, but this isn't working. Also, there's no notification when a system software update occurs, which kicks us off grid power. At times, it takes multiple attempts to connect. But I really recommend Enphase Solar and home backup, really good product!!!

Nice app. I ended up having to hardwire the Envoy Gateway into the AP next to it, cos the gateway kept dropping the WiFi signal. All works fine now. I'm just missing the Grid Control option to switch off the panels when needed. Annoying because I have several announced power outages coming up, and would like to be able to power down the system before those happen. --- To safely power down, Enphase wants you to buy a 300euro license/lifetime subscription. A lot of money for a basic safety feature
